15 Minute Scones Made with Pancake Mix
- 200 grams Pancake mix
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 30 grams Vegetable oil
- 50 ml Milk
- 1 Raisins (optional)
- Mix the pancake mix and sugar together in a bowl.
- Add the vegetable oil, milk and raisins.
- Knead well by hand, then bring the dough together.
- Roll it into a round, and then slice it into sixths with a knife, as if you were slicing a cake.
- It won't cook through if it's too thick, so make it around 12 cm in diameter.
- Line up the pieces on a baking tray lined with foil, and bake for 4 minutes in the toaster oven.
- Take a look at it and cover with foil if it looks like the surface is about to burn.
- Bake for another 4 minutes, and it's done!
- If you'd prefer a milder sweetness, omit the sugar.
- It'll still be mildly sweet that makes it perfect for breakfast.
- You can top the scones with nuts, chocolate chips, cornflakes, etc.
- Or add cocoa or matcha to the dough.
- The possibilities are endless!
