Jolly Cheddar Cheese Spread

  1. Chop Cheddar finely in food processor.
  2. Add butter and cognac and process until smooth.
  3. Stir in by hand pecans and raisins.
  4. Spread in mini crock (or other decorative dish) and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. Serve with breadsticks, crackers, French bread, apple or pears, or raw vegetables.
