Chicken With Italian Sausage Recipe
- 1 cut up chicken
- 1 pound Italian sausage, cooked and cut into serving pcs
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 can kidney beans, liquid removed
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 1 lg. green pepper
- 1 lg. can whole Italian tomatoes
- 1 sm. can tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Tabasco to taste
- Brown chicken.
- Put rice on bottom of shallow casserole.
- Kidney beans on rice, part of onion slices, chicken next, then sausage.
- Over top use rest of onion slices and green pepper rings.
- Place whole tomatoes on top.
- Mix juice from tomatoes and tomato sauce together with Worcestershire and Tabasco.
- Pour proportionately over casserole.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour sealed with foil.
