Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread Recipe

  1. Cream butter; gradually add in sugar, beating well.
  2. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Combine flour, baking pwdr, soda, and salt; add in to creamed mix alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mix.
  4. Stir in banana and pecans.
  5. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 min or possibly till a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cold in pan 5 min; remove to wire rack and cold completely.
  8. Yield: 1 loaf.
