chewy energy bars
- 2 1/2 cup rice krispies
- 2 cup oats
- 3/4 cup toasted wheat germ
- 3/4 cup honey (local and raw is best)
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup light light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- spray 11x7" pan with non - stick cooking spray.
- In large bowl, mix rice krispies, oats, and wheat germ.
- In saucepan, heat honey, peanut butter, and brown sugar.
- stir until melted and smooth.
- remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Mix with dry ingredients and press into pan.
