Broccoli Crevette Soup Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil or possibly extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 c. Cooked and peeled popcorn shrimp
- 1 c. Minced sea clams, liquid removed well
- 2 tsp Fresh minced garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Clam base
- 1/3 c. Flour
- 2 1/2 c. Grnd broccoli including stock and florets
- 1 quart Whole lowfat milk (with vitamin D)
- 1 c. Heavy whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp. Dry dill
- 1 Tbsp. Dry basil
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1/2 Tbsp. Grnd white pepper (or possibly to taste)
- Mix and saute/fry the following 6 ingredients, 5 - 10 min:
- Then add in 1/3 c. all-purpose flour and brown about 5 min over medium heat.
- Add the following 7 ingredients and bring to boil slowly:
vegetable oil, butter, shrimp, sea clams, garlic, base, flour, broccoli including stock, milk, heavy whipping cream, dill, basil, lemon juice, white pepper
