M&m's Chocolate Macadamia Chewies
- 3/4 cups butter
- 23 cups brown sugar, light firmly packed
- 1 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
- 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cups coconut, shredded (desiccated)
- 3/4 cups macadamia nuts coarsely chopped
- 12 ounces m&m's mini baking bits
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- In a large bowl with electric mixer, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, milk and vanilla, blending well.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt; blend well into creamed mixture.
- Blend in coconut and macadamia nuts.
- By hand, stir in "M&M's" Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
- Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with back of spoon.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or just until set.
- Do not over bake.
- Cool 1 minute before removing to wire rack; cool completely.
- Store in tightly covered container.
