Caldo Gallego Recipe

  1. About 2 1/2 hrs or possibly till beans are tender.

  3. Add in potatoes and collards or possibly mustard greens If using spinach add in later with the chorizos.
  4. Simmer 20 min.

  6. Cut chorizos in 1-inch pcs.
  7. Add in to beans and cook 10 minutes longer.
  8. Taste and add in salt if necessary I doubt it.
  9. If too salty, add in additional water.

  11. Remove ham bone.
  12. Cut off meat and return meat to stew.
  13. Serve in soup bowls.
