Herbed Vegetable Blend Rice Recipe

  1. In saucepan, heat butter, then saute/fry onion, green pepper and garlic till tender.
  2. Then add in rice and stir.
  3. Then add in spices, tomato and liquid with bouillon cubes.
  4. Cover and bring to boil.
  5. At rapid boil, cut back to very low simmer till 3/4 liquid is absorbed.
  6. When absorbed remove from heat and let stand covered 15 to 20 min.
  7. Fluff with fork and serve.
  8. (This should be fluffy and not sticky.)
