Bacon Avocado Blue Cheese Sliders
- 8 slices Bacon
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Pepper
- 1 whole Tomato (Medium Size)
- 1 whole Avocado
- 4 whole Small Buns Or Rolls
- Mayonnaise, Quantity As Desired
- 4 Tablespoons Crumbled Blue Cheese
- Lay out the bacon on a microwave cooking tray or warm skillet.
- Sprinkle the pepper onto the bacon (just one side of the bacon is fine).
- Cook the bacon in the microwave on a cooking tray, or in a skillet over medium heat until brown and on the crispy side.
- If using a microwave cooking tray, lay a paper towel over the bacon before putting it in the microwave.
- The paper towel should lay flat over the bacon as it cooks.
- When its done, lay out the cooked bacon on a paper towel to absorb the excess grease and set aside.
- Slice the tomato.
- Cut the avocado in half.
- Remove the seed and use a spoon to remove each half of the avocado.
- Then cut it into fairly thick slices.
- Cut the rolls in half and generously spread mayonnaise on each side of the bun.
- Break each piece of bacon in half and add 4 pieces (equal to 2 whole pieces of bacon) to each of the bottom sides of the bread.
- Then, add a slice of tomato on top of the bacon and sprinkle it with pepper.
- Next, add the slices of avocado over the tomato (use 1/4 of the avocado slices per slider) and sprinkle it with pepper.
- Then, add the crumbled blue cheese.
- Lastly, add the top of the bun over the crumbled blue cheese.
