Brie French Bread Recipe
- 4 ounce. brie, room temp.
- 1/2 c. butter, room temp.
- 1/2 c. finely minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon dry basil, crushed
- 1 (21 inch) loaf French bread
- 1.
- Cream together the brie, butter, onion and basil; let sit 10 min to blend flavors.
- 2. slice bread lengthwise and spread with the cheese mix.
- With a thin sharp knife, slash almost through the bread for individual portions.
- 3.
- Wrap in foil and bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 min.
- Serve immediately.
