Whole Wheat Sunflower Seed Bread

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water using a whisk.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients--adding flour gradually till it forms a good kneading dough.
  3. Put on floured board and knead this for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Put into a large oiled bowl.
  5. Rise about 1-2 hours.
  6. Punch down and rise again--about 1 hour or a little more.
  7. Divide into thirds and place in three greased bread pans.
  8. Rise again till doubled.
  9. 325 degrees for about 60 minutes.
  10. These will not be too brown on the bottom because of the lower temperature; if you want them browner, take them out of the pans and put them on a cookie sheet and bake another 8-10 minutes (I never have to do this because I like them the way they are).
