Oat-Coconut Cookies

  1. Cream shortning and sugar.
  2. Add egg; mix well.
  3. Combine dry ingredients.
  4. Add to creamed mixture; mix well.
  5. Roll into 1 inch balls.
  6. Place on kightly greased baking sheet.
  7. Flatten with a fork.
  8. Bake at 350* for 11 minutes, until edges begin to brown.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
