Turkey and Apple Pockets
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 medium apple, peeled cored and shredded
- 34 teaspoon dried sage
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 3 whole wheat pita bread, cut in 1/2
- In a large skillet, heat oil and cook turkey until lightly browned.
- Add apple, sage and pepper and cook, stirring often for 4-5 minutes.
- Divide turkey into 6 portions.
- Spoon into each pita half.
- Serve warm.
