Sesame Vegetable Salad Recipe
- 8 c. torn leaf lettuce
- 2 tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/3 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/3 c. green pepper strips
- 1/3 c. sliced cucumber
- 1 sm. carrot, bias sliced
- 1/4 c. finely minced onion
- Place lettuce in bottom of a large bowl.
- Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp.
- sesame seed and the sugar.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl combine lowfat sour cream, mayonnaise, and vinegar.
- Stir in green pepper, cucumber, carrot, and onion.
- Spoon lowfat sour cream mix atop lettuce, spreading to edge of bowl.
- Sprinkle with remaining sesame seed.
- Cover tightly; refrigerateup to 24 hrs.
- Toss before serving.
- Serves 8.
