Bean And Beef Ragout Recipe

  1. In Dutch oven brown beef in warm oil.
  2. Add in next 10 ingredients.
  3. Bring to boil; reduce heat.
  4. Simmer covered for 1 1/2 hrs.
  5. Add in potatoes, cook 30 min more.
  6. Remove bay leaf.
  7. Add in beans.
  8. Combine cornstarch and 2 Tbsp.
  9. water; add in to stew.
  10. Cook and stir till bubbly.
  11. Makes 8 servings.
