Oatmeal Cake And Frosting

  1. Cake: Mix and set aside oatmeal and boiling water.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients and add to oatmeal.
  3. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350F (180C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
  4. Frosting: Mix 3/4 cup brown sugar, butter, cream and coconut.
  5. Spread over cake after baking and broil until bubbling.
