Beet Pizza
- 4 whole Purple Beets
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil, Plus More To Drizzle On The Crust
- 1/2 cups Goat Cheese, Divided
- 1 whole Pizza Dough
- 1 cup Kale, Torn Into Bite-sized Pieces
- 13 cups Parmesan Cheese
- Sea Salt And Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Crushed Walnuts
- First things first.
- I steamed my beets for about 20 minutes.
- Just steam them until you can stick a fork in them easily.
- Then strain your beets and put them in a food processor with some olive oil, about 1/4 cup goat cheese, and 1 teaspoon sea salt.
- Once your sauce is blended together, its time to move on to your dough.
- Roll your dough out on a lightly floured surface.
- Sprinkle some olive oil evenly over the crust.
- Then spread your beet sauce.
- Add the remaining goat cheese (crumbled), kale, parmesan cheese, then sprinkle more olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Pop everything into a 375 degrees F oven for 10 minutes.
- Then take out your pizza and sprinkle the crushed walnuts evenly over the pizza.
- Put it back in the oven for 2 more minutes.
- Enjoy!
