Santa Maria
- 12 ounces blanco tequila
- 6 ounces white port
- 2 ounces Velvet Falernum
- 8 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 2 ounces agave nectar mixed with 2 ounces water
- Ice
- 6 ounces chilled ginger beer
- 8 orange wheels, for garnish
- In a large resealable container, combine the first five ingredients; refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.
- Cover tightly and shake, then pour into an ice-filled pitcher.
- Strain into ice-filled white wine glasses, top with the ginger beer and garnish.
