Sauerkraut With Apples Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onion in butter till soft and clear but not brown.
  2. Mix with sauerkraut.
  3. Place alternate layers of kraut and apples in greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar and mustard.
  5. Cover and bake in moderate oven (375 temperature) for 30 min.
  6. Good with ham, pork chops or possibly polish sausage.
