Pops green beans
- 2 lb fresh green beans
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 each hamhocks
- 1 1/2 lb yukon gold potatoes, quartered
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp season salt
- 32 oz of your favorite chicken stock.
- 1 freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Clean and trim beans
- Put beans in slow cooker
- Add chicken stock to just cover the beans.
- Add potatoes, onions, hamhocks, garlic and onion powder, season salt and black pepper
- Cover and cook on high till boiling
- Reduce heat to low and cook four hours or until potatoes are done.
- Serve in bowls with hard crusty bread.
