Caramelized Bananas with Ice Cream and Homemade Whipped topping

  1. For the whipped topping add the heavy cream and sugar to mixer.
  2. Mix on high until creamy and fluffy.
  3. Refridgerate until ready to use.
  4. For the bananas.
  5. Slice the banana diagonally and place carefully in hot buttered frying pan.
  6. Med.
  7. High heat.
  8. Watch these very carefully.
  9. They are fragile and can burn.
  10. Turn the heat down if you need to.
  11. Using 2 forks, turn them and let the other side brown.
  12. You want both sides nice and brown.
  13. They caramelize nicely.
  14. Remove the bananas carefully using a spoon or a fork.
  15. Scoop ice cream into 5 bowls.
  16. Add 3 or 4 banana slices to each bowl of ice cream.
  17. Place a couple of spoonfuls of whipped topping onto your bananas.
  18. Drizzle caramel sauce and enjoy!
