Devil's Food Marshmallow Cake

  1. Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 2 (9-inch) round layers.
  2. Cool completely.
  3. Chop 12 cookies coarsely.
  4. Add to 2 cups Cool Whip in large bowl along with 1-1/2 cups marshmallows; stir gently until blended.
  5. Stack cake layers on plate, filling layers with Cool Whip mixture.
  6. Frost top of cake with remaining Cool Whip.
  7. Cut remaining cookies in half.
  8. Use to garnish cake along with remaining marshmallows.
