Vickys Ladyfingers for Tiramisu/Trifle, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free

  1. Preheat your oven to gas 4 / 180C / 350F and grease a square 9" cake tin
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder and starch together in one bowl and the sugar, vanilla, oil and water in another
  3. Slowly add the wet to the dry and stir until just combined
  4. Pour into the tin and bake for 40 minutes or until golden and the sides are pulling away from the tin
  5. Let cool then cut into fingers or squares to use in your dessert
  6. Makes 9 squares or 27 sponge fingers
