Very Delicious Stir-fried Tofu with Shimeji Mushrooms and Salt

  1. Drain the tofu very well and remove any excess moisture by patting it lightly with paper towels.
  2. Thinly coat the dried tofu with katakuriko.
  3. Heat the oil in the frying pan.
  4. Place the tofu in the pan and fry over low heat.
  5. Brown one side, turn over and brown the other side.
  6. Add shimeji mushrooms and sake.
  7. Fry until wilted.
  8. Season with salt to taste.
  9. Add black pepper to taste and serve straight away!
