Chili Loaded Nachos
- tortilla chips
- 4-1/2 cups Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cubed
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 2-1/4 qt. canned beef chili, heated
- 1-1/2 qt. shredded romaine lettuce
- 3 cups tomatoes, seeded, diced
- 1-1/2 cups scallions, thinly sliced
- For each 4-serving appetizer: Arrange 3 oz.
- (85 g) tortilla chips on large platter.
- Microwave 3/4 cup (175 mL) Velveeta and 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) milk on MEDIUM 2 to 4 min.
- or until completely melted, stirring halfway.
- Stir until sauce is well blended.
- Spoon 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) heated chili evenly over chips.
- Top with Velveeta sauce, 1 cup (250 mL) lettuce, 1/2 cup (125 mL) tomatoes and 1/4 cup (50 mL) scallions.
- Serve immediately.
