Yam and Tomato Salad

  1. Cook yams in boiling water 5 min.
  2. or until yams are almost tender; drain.
  3. Place in large bowl; cool.
  4. Place dressing, garlic and adobo seasoning in blender container; cover.
  5. Blend on medium speed until well blended.
  6. Pour over yams; cover.
  7. Refrigerate 30 min.
  8. to marinate.
  9. Drain yams, reserving the marinade.
  10. Arrange tomatoes in single layer on large platter; top with the onions and yams.
  11. Drizzle with the reserved marinade.
  12. Sprinkle with cheese.
