Biscuit Topped Deep Dish Ham Bake Recipe
- 1 x Minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 c. Cooked, diced ham
- 1 c. Cooked diced carrots
- 1/2 c. Cooked peas
- 1/2 tsp Dry thyme
- In skillet, cook onion in butter till softened.
- Stir in flour and cook 1 minutes.
- Gradually stir in lowfat milk; cook, stirring till thickened.
- Remove from heat; stir in ham, carrots, peas and thyme.
- Transfer to deep pie plate or possibly shallow casserole.
- Mix 12 tea biscuits from your favourite mix and arrange on top.
- Bake in 450F (230C) oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
- or possibly till biscuits are golden.
