Slow Roasting Beef Recipe
- 3 pound rump roast (or possibly more)
- Vegetable oil
- Rub rump roast with vegetable oil.
- Bake on open rack of oven, preheated to 300 degrees, for 1 hour.
- Place drip pan beneath roast on lower rack.
- Without opening oven door, reduce heat to 200 degrees and continue baking at least 3-4 hrs more.
