Cheesy Maple Apple Crostini
- 1 -2 granny smith apple
- maple syrup
- cheddar cheese (prefer block, mild, white)
- 1 loaf of crusty French bread
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cut french bread on a diangle into thin slices disregarding the ends.
- If only serving a small number of guests only use half of the loaf.
- If you want a crunchy crostini, bake in oven first before adding remaining ingredients.
- Brush each crostini with maple syrup, but make sure not to make it soggy.
- Slice thin wedges of Granny Smith apples and place on top of crostini.
- Slice thin pieces of cheddar cheese and place it on top of Granny Smith Apple on the crostini.
- Bake until cheese is melted.
