Beer and Cheddar Dip

  1. Cook sausage in large saucepan over medium heat, stirring until crumbled.
  2. Drain and remove.
  3. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat; add onion and garlic, saute' until tender.
  4. Add flour, stir until smooth, cook 1 minute, stir constantly.
  5. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
  6. Add cheese, stir until melted.
  7. Remove from heat; stir in sausage, beer, chilies, salt, and pepper, and serve.
  8. You can put in slow cooker if you would like.
