Cherry Squares (Cobbler) Recipe

  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in shortening, as for a pie crust.
  3. Mix egg, lowfat milk, and vanilla together and add in to dry mix.
  4. Pat 2/3 of mix into ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
  5. Pour cherry pie filling over mix and sprinkle the remaining 1/3 over fruit.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
  7. Blueberry, apple, pineapple pie filling may be used.
