Venison Roast

  2. Rinse roast under running water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Season with pepper.

  5. In a 2 quart crock pot, layer ingredients as follows: onion slices, roast, garlic, apples, bacon.

  7. Mix vinegar with broth and pour over everything.
  8. 4.
  9. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  10. 5.
  11. Discard apples, garlic and bacon before serving.
  12. Serve roast with onion and juices.
