Venison Roast
- 2 pounds Venison Roast
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, Ground
- 2 slices Onion (1/4 Inch Thick Slices)
- 2 cloves Garlic, Halved
- 1 whole Apple, Sliced
- 2 pieces Bacon, Cooked And Chopped
- 1/4 cups Red Wine Vinegar
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 1.
- Rinse roast under running water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Season with pepper.

- In a 2 quart crock pot, layer ingredients as follows: onion slices, roast, garlic, apples, bacon.
- 3.
- Mix vinegar with broth and pour over everything.
- 4.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- 5.
- Discard apples, garlic and bacon before serving.
- Serve roast with onion and juices.
