Sourdough Cornbread Recipe
- 2 c. stone grnd white cornmeal
- 3 tbsp. light molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. lowfat milk, scalded
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. sourdough starter
- 2 lg. Large eggs
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- Combine cornmeal, molasses, salt, scalded lowfat milk, and butter.
- Stir to heat butter and let mix cold.
- Then stir in remainder of ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 inch well greased pan.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 35 to 45 min or possibly till golden.
