Mongolian Beef Recipe

  1. Mix together soy sauce, rice wine, sugar and sesame oil plus 1/2 c. water.
  2. Pour over sliced beef and marinate overnight.
  3. Heat wok.
  4. Add in 1/2 c. oil, fry garlic and peppers till burnt, remove.
  5. Drain meat reserving liquid.
  6. Add in meat removing as it gets browned, drain off oil.
  7. In 2 tsp.
  8. sesame oil cook scallion and onions till soft.
  9. Add in meat and reserved liquid.
  10. Cook till thickens (may add in 1 Tbsp.
  11. cornstarch to thicken).
