Slow Cooker Beef Stew
- 2 1/2 lb cubed beef stew meat
- 1 1/2 tsp Morton season all salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 stick of butter melted
- 2 clove minced garlic
- bunch quartered baby yukon gold potatoes
- bunch baby carrots
- 3/4 cup diced white onion
- 2/3 cup diced celery
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes
- 2 bay leaf
- 1/3 cup good red wine (optional)
- 1 packages crockery gourmet seasoning for beef mixed with 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup hot water mixed with 1 vegetable and 1 beef bouillon cube and 1 Tbs chopped parsley
- Mix beef with seasoned salt, pepper and coat with flour and set aside.
- Place potatoes in the slow cooker and pour butter and garlic in and mix up well salt and pepper and add the next 5 ingredients plus beef into slow cooker and mix up.
- Pour in red wine if using , water with seasoning on top then pour the other cup over and cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Serve with buttered cornbread :-)
