Ketchup Rice
- 2 rice cups Japanese rice (about 300g)
- 320 ml water
- 1 cube bouillon (ex.Maggi)
- 1 onion
- 4-5 green bell peppers
- 3 Tbsp sake (or white wine)
- 5 Tbsp ketchup
- Dissolve the bouillon cube with hot water (less than 320ml).
- Make the total amount of bouillon 320ml and pour it over the (rinsed) rice.
- Leave it for more than 60 minutes.
- Cut the onion, bell peppers, and sausages (or chicken) in small pieces.
- Spread the oil in a pan and fry the onion.
- Then add the bell peppers, sausages and the frozen vegetables.
- Fry well.
- Add the sake and ketchup in the rice.
- Then pour them into the pan.
- Make the surface flat.
- Make sure the rice is soaked in the water.
- Put a lid over the pan.
- Lower the heat when it boils and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Leave it for another 15 minutes without heating WITH the lid on.
- Open the lid, mix well and enjoy!
