Frozen Strawberry Yogurt
- 2 cups strawberry yogurt
- 16-oz. package frozen strawberries, slightly thawed and mashed, or 3 cups fresh strawberries, coarsely chopped
- 2 tsps. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, or to taste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- Whole or sliced strawberries for garnish, if desired
- Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and stir until smooth.
- Pour mixture into ice cream freezer container and churn according to manufacturers directions.
- When firm, scoop mixture into container, cover and freeze for 30 minutes, if needed to firm mixture.
- To serve, garnish with whole or sliced strawberries.
