Swedish kladdkaka - gooey chocolate cake
- 100 grams butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 300 ml caster sugar
- 150 ml regular flour
- 4 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50 grams chocolate
- 1 vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
- 1 A dash of salt
- 1 icing sugar to dust
- Melt the butter in a pan.
- Remove from the heat and add the chocolate in chunks or roughly chopped.
- Combine the eggs and the sugar.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the eggs and the sugar.
- Then mix in the chocolate and butter mixture.
- Line a springform pan with parchment paper, and pour in your batter.
- Bake for 15-20 min at 170F celsius (338 F).
- When you stick through a skewer it should come up dry.
- Let your cake cool and remove it from the springform pan.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve with ice cream or whipped cream!
