No-Sugar Cookies
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 12 cup walnuts, chopped
- 12 cup seedless raisin
- 12 cup orange juice
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated orange peel
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 12 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, walnuts, raisins, orange juice, butter, baking powder, orange peel, salt, cinnamon, and beaten egg until well blended.
- Drop dough by teaspoon about 2 inches apart on a well greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remember all ovens are different.
- I usually check mine 3 minutes early.
- With a spatula, remove cookies to wire racks to cool.
- Store in a tight container.
- May freeze until needed.
