Sparkle Cookies
- 4 cups golden sugar cookie mix
- 13 cup butter softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 x sugar red and green
- Heat oven to 400F (200C).
- Mix all ingredients except red and green sugar.
- Shape dough by teaspoonfuls into balls.
- Roll in sugar.
- Place balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
- Immediately remove from cookie sheet; cool.
