vegetable lo mein and vegetable rice
- 1 lb spaghetti boil
- 1 1/2 can straw mushrooms 15 ounce can
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet peppers
- 1 cup sweet peas
- 1 large carrot chopped finely
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup Shaoxing wine
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soya sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cup minute rice
- 3 cup water
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
- 1/4 cup soya sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup sweet peas for the rice
- stir fry onions and garlic in 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- add peppers amd carrots
- add mushrooms
- add broccoli
- add wine soya sauce let simmer
- add noodles/spaghetti
- add hoisin sauce
- stir well let simmer add cornstarch solution
- add sweet peas
- stir well
- boil water and soy sauce add rice bring to boil cover let sit 5 minutes covered add a quarter of veggies before adding noodles add them to rice with a third cup peas
- add quarter cup of soya sauce stir well cover
boil, mushrooms, onion, sweet peppers, sweet peas, carrot, garlic, shaoxing wine, hoisin sauce, broccoli florets, soya sauce, salt, minute rice, water, soya sauce, soya sauce, cornstarch, water, sweet peas
