Pickled Beets Recipe

• 6 or possibly 7 pts. beets, boil and peeled
• 2 c. water, from beets
• 2 c. vinegar
• 2 c. sugar
• 1 tbsp. salt
• 1 tbsp. pickling spices

1. Make syrup of water, vinegar, salt, and sugar.
2. Place spices in a bag, bring to boil and cook for 5 min.
3. Put beets in jars, pour syrup over beets and seal jars.
