Lasagna
- 1/2 lb lasgna noodles (9 noodles)
- 1/2 lb ground italian sausage
- 1 egg (slightly beaten)
- 8 oz ricotta
- 2 cup mozzarella (shredded)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp italian seasoning
- 24 oz pasta sauce (I enjoy Hunts Traditional)
- Cook noodles according to package directions
- Crumble and brown sausage.
- Stir in pasta sauce and set aside
- Preheat oven to 375*
- In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, egg & seasonings
- Grease a medium baking dish.
- Add 1/3 cup of sauce to bottom of pan
- Cover bottom of pan with 3 noodles
- Cover noodles with 1/3 cheese.
- Then top with 1/3 sauce
- Repeat layers 2 more times (noodles, cheese then sauce)
- Top with remaining mozzarella
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes
- Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes
