Curry and Lemon Pilaf
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 14 cup onion
- 14 cup mushroom
- 14 cup celery
- 1 cup soup stock
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 lemon
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
- Saute diced vegetables with butter.
- Add rice, cold water, chicken base, garlic & curry powder.
- Bring to a simmer, then simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Mix in chopped parsley and sliced almonds.
- Sprinkle with (lots of) lemon juice!
