Light and Easy Pasta

  2. Heat oil in a heavy large frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and garlic and saute until tender.

  5. Add chard and saute until it wilts.

  7. Stir in tomatoes with their juices, wine and red pepper flakes.
  8. Bring to a simmer.
  9. Cover and simmer until the tomatoes begin to break down and the chard is very tender, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.

  11. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  12. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions.
  13. Drain the pasta.
  14. 5.
  15. Transfer the pasta to serving bowls.
  16. Top the pasta with the sauce mixture, olives and pine nuts (I toasted the pine nuts for extra flavor.)
