Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper, or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large garlic clove, minced or pressed
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Whisk
- Whisk together the first 6 ingredients.
- While continuing to whisk, add the oil in a thin stream to thicken.
- Adjust the seasonings as needed.
- Make ahead and refrigerate.
