Rice Pilaf

  1. Break spaghetti into 1/2-3/4-inch pieces.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter over a medium low heat in a medium size sauce pan.
  4. Brown spaghetti pieces and rice for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Don't over brown!
  6. Add liquid, salt and pepper and bring to a full boil.
  7. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer until rice is done (15-18 minutes).
  8. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
