Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza
- 1 whole Pizza Dough (store Bough Or Your Favorite Recipe)
- 4 slices Provolone Cheese, Sliced (about 1 Ounce Per Slice)
- 1 whole Bosc Pear, Cored And Thinly Sliced
- 2- 1/2 ounces, weight Gorgonzola Cheese, Crumbled
- 2 ounces, weight Chopped Walnuts (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Scallions
- Prepare and bake your favorite pizza dough, either store bought or from scratch.
- Bake the dough according to your package or recipe instructions.
- When ready to make the pizza... Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Layer provolone cheese on top of the baked pizza crust.
- Top with half of the sliced pear (nibble on the other half as you wait for the pizza to bake).
- Sprinkle with Gorgonzola cheese, walnuts (if using) and chopped scallions.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve.
