Spiked Rhubarb Sauce
- 1 lb rhubarb
- 34 cup sugar
- 14 cup water
- 14 cup red wine
- Wash rhubarb& cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Combine all ingredients in a heavy pot& bring to a boil.
- Lower heat& simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes or to desired consistency.
- Let the sauce cool slightly& serve over ice cream.
